
See? I can't let go. Even though this batch is really very crunchy - meaning they were likely harvested a long time ago, somewhere very far away. It's not how I usually do things, but for persimmons I will make this exception. After all, it's winter. And it's not like citrus is native to this region either. (Excuses, excuses). And even crunchy custard is delicious (in this case).
