eggs in a pan

I do typically crack the eggs before putting them in the pan. We've become completely hooked on farm-fresh eggs from happy free-roaming chickens, bought directly from the farmer (or maybe one of their friends). Once you've opened the carton to see their entirely un-uniform size and shape, the subtle variations in color, the tiny, pale freckles on some of the shells... And then inside, the rich golden color and wonderful flavor, the absolute essence of freshness... Well, there's no turning back.

I am ready to find farm fresh eggs...my son raises chickens and he says they are very flavourful. I love the simplification of your brushwork and the bold color. Very nice.

Your eggs are wonderful! This is the first time I have seen your work. I love your shapes and abstract quality to each piece. Also reading your blog is fun. I don't go out much either except to get firewood and to the market. And the shadows are long this time of the year. Keep posting, for you are a good read as well as a feast for the eyes.
