apples

I feel like I've been talking about apples a lot lately - but until today I've been keeping them hidden. I haven't meant to. Here are three multi-hued Gold Rushes, which I can never resist when I see them at the market. So subtly luminous, so very-near-golden... And it certainly doesn't hurt that they're oh-so-crisp, sweet, and just this side of tart. The perfect snacking apple. I'm smitten.

Love all the colors you found in these apples! These would go well with yesterday's cheese.

Marissa, my paintings arrived today! They are even more beautiful in person than online. I absolutely love them!

I am going to have them framed and give them to my son-in-law for Christmas. He is going to be so surprised! He admires your work a lot.

Thanks!

Thank you, TF and both Lindas! I was so happy to see the word "glowing" - that's definitely what I was going for, since these apples really do seem to emit light!
And Virginia ~ I'm so glad you're happy with your paintings! Thank you again; I hope your son-in-law loves them too :)
