This is not a Gold-Rush-only household; we love our Cameos too. We had a Classic Autumn Sunday yesterday: Breakfast of homemade apple butter on toast; a trip to the farmers' market where we came thisclose to buying twenty-five pounds of brussels sprouts (it was a really good deal!) - but instead filled our bags and arms with apples and pumpkins; and a trip out to the farm where we gather our firewood every two weeks or so. We searched among downed trees and burn piles for pieces that we could chainsaw up into compact little logs small enough for our tiny (pink) wood stove. Then we had some curry for lunch, and came home and scattered ants and bark all over the house (oh, to have outdoor access to the backyard!), and made ourselves a pot of tea. Good Sunday. Now we can tackle this week.
